With only 3 days left for applications for the next program, the Rockstart accelerator recently announced a new awesome batch of mentors. Mind you, we’re pretty proud to have Bogdan Iordache on that list!

So what is Rockstart Accelerator?

Rockstart is a European accelerator based in Amsterdam

Summify just announced their recent acquisition by Twitter. The startup started in Romania, joined the Bootup Labs accelerator in Canada, moved to Vancouver and has gone through a couple of pivots. The final product, an application that creates a summary of the most important pieces of news shared on the user’s network, was launched in the summer of 2010.

Brainient, the Romanian startup developing a platform to support video advertising, announced earlier today that they closed another funding round, raising $1.8m from a collection of investors. The main investor is Prague-based Credo Ventures. Atlas Venture, Estag Capital and existing investors Serry Coutu and 500 Startups have also
participated in the round.
